Default Turnigy 16" props for sport flying

I recently purchased a few Turnigy 16" dia props to use for general sport flying and upon arrival I immediately noticed that they seem to be fairly well made BUT that they have a rather thin hub section at just about 1/2" thick, as most my other various brands of wood props of similar size have at least a 5/8' thick hub section. Can anyone that have used these props kindly comment on their performance or lack of it. Thanks.

Default RE: Turnigy 16

I've used the 18" props w/o problems.

I can't say that I've noticed any difference between them and some of the wooden ones from Tower performance wise.

I haven't broken one yet either... though I started using them on a couple of planes only last fall.
