I've got one in a BHM T-28, and another in a H9 Toledo Special. It powers both with ease...the planes can do aerobatics or just float around. I've got two more of these engines looking for homes in future projects. Great engine. Jon

BTE Flyin King is a good plane for a Saito .82.

2 that I will reccomend are the Reactor, and U Can Do. Try either and you will love it. U Can Do best for 3D.

I have had my only 82 on a few planes.
4*40- ridiculous over the top power. 13x8 APC was best for me. Came out about 4.75 pounds.
Midwest 40 size Zero. Perfect engine. 12x10 APC, about 5.5 pounds.
Currently in Subaru 3-D profile. 14x6 APC, 4.5 lbs. Another perfect matchup.

The "82" will be just right!
I used an APC 12x8 on my Saito FA-80.

While the engine is inverted.... http://www.veryicon.com/icon/preview...ndy%20Icon.jpg

We have several people at our club flying "Twists" with the Saito 82s & they are a blast, if you are looking for a fun fly type..Gene

The 82 is made for any 46(2C)- 70(4C) engine size plane. Stick to that size and the engine will fly it with authority. Go bigger into a 60 class plane and the engine will be week and not strong enough to do much other than fly level.

I just put my Saito 82 in an Escapade with a 11x7 3 blade prop.climbs till out of sight.
Very fast and will also slow down quickly when off throttle with three balde prop.
Thinking about putting it in a Ultra sport 40+ I am building.:D

Hanger 9 ShowTime 50 ARF - designed to specifically use either a Saito 82 (4-stroke) or Evolution 52 (2-stroke). This one keeps me smiling with the Saito.
