4 * star 120
 

I started building this plane around 20 years ago, kind forget the actual year. A couple of moves and quitting the hobby for 14 years or so kind of put it on hold. Decided late last fall to finish it and about all there is left to do is put on the tail brace wires and glue on the canopy.

Don't know if I will get it up the air this year, the engine is an OS 120 surpass II that has never been started so it needs to broken in. I had a 4 * star 40 years ago that flew very nice hoping the 120 flys as well as it did.

Plane is finished with Sig Koverall and Sig dope.

Really looks nice, could have been the one in the ad! I flew my old 4 star 40 the other day..its over 20 years old as well. still flies nice.

I have a 60 size one that came with an LA 65, the engine is worned out but the airplane still going strong, I got it second hand, the previous owner was selling her because he was not able to fly rc any more, I try to sell her twice at two diferent swap meets but no one made me any offer so, I stop trying to sell her, so far she has flown with 4 diferent engines, 5 years with me not sure how many with the first owner, maybe two.

Best float plane I ever had.
