Hi all,
We have some serious issues with the software that runs the "old" parts of RCU -- namely the parts that are not the forums, the Marketplace, or the home page articles.
We want to know from you which parts of the old site still patter to you, so we can better decide what to try to save, and what has to go.
Please select as many of these answers as apply to you.
Thanks for your help!
Paul

Here we go again just a different way to tell you that they intend to do an update which means the site is in for another major screw up. LOL just wait this should be funny but sad. Anyone want to guess on the number of "It don't work right why can't we have the old site back" complaints. Its like watching the Keystone Cops LOL.

I agree with None of The above option as well. The most important parts for me is Buy / Sell and Forums.

I don't see the point in keeping the "clubs" listing. I looked in the boating listing for Washington State and found many of the clubs are not listed. I don't know if this is due to the club information not being given by said club or if it was and the forum wasn't updated. Either way, it's probably not practical to try to keep it up to date as this is a very fluid topic

There is NO need to change a thing with RCUNIVERSE. Whatever the problem is, we, meaning members of RCUniverse are quite proud of this forum. We ALL love it.

Yes, because the question wasn't "which parts of RCU do you NOT care about," it was "Here are 6 sections -- which of them ARE important?"
Not voting = "I don't think any of these are important."

I have used the old RCU quite a few times tru the years and I have liked it then all of a sudden you make all these changes then you wind up into another planet looks like, if you wanted to clean up the old one you dint need any improvements you could have done so but always leaving the old notion I never had any problem with the old one to begin with and I have bought and sold lots of stuff look on the number one think RCU has lost all most 3/4 of their posts just because every one like me as seen that the new one does not work well number one there is no necessity to keep all expired posts on the web site to much cloning without having a repost button and just keep one of it there number two there is lack of messaging I have lots of problem communicating with prospected buyers because I dint get any messages and you can see on the records talking about this particular subject, number three the site was not divided into proper subject selection like it was the old one ecc.ecc. Man bring back the old one John had a fantastic think going on for ove 17 years why change it look at the big web sites they never changed any think since day one except polishing rules and regulations but that’s it, thank you for listening!
