Go to first unread post?
Hi,,
Really like what I see going on so far. It's very easy to get around, and I like the new look. Thanks for the hard work.
Only one peev :
I wanted to read the latest post residing within "Ode to Billy Hell" and found no easy way to get to the end of the thread.
I miss the "go to first unread post" that the old RCU offered. I saw a reference regarding fixing a feature in the marketplace "go to first unread THREAD". These are not the same, are they?
Maybe I'm not using it right. Is there a "go to first unread post" feature available when I'm reading al messages in my subscribed forums?
Joe

RE: Go to first unread post?
On a related subject (at least I think it's related)...
Could we, pretty please, have the down arrow (go to first unread post) on the first page of the thread, as in the old RCU? I know it's there on the thread listing page, but there used to be one on the first page as well.
I do love the new changes, and it feels petty to be asking, but it seems like such a tiny change...

On the thread listing page click the down arrow to the left of the thread title. that brings you to the newest unread post
I'll see if I can put it inside the threads too

RE: Go to first unread post?
Oh, that's what the down arrow is for! (blushing...)
Sorry for the oversight. I missed the one inside the thread, but I actually like the new way better! Using the down arrow makes "backing out" of a thread faster as I don't need to revisit the first page in the thread.
