Supertigre 45 muffler?
 

I have an Italian made Super tigre 45 that has a big S on the side, the muffler that is bolt thru and I am trying to find a proper muffler for it. The space between the muffler is 38mm, but the mufflers from Tower states that the distance is 42mm.

If you have any info on what muffler and from where that would be wonderful.

You may want to check with Mac's muffler products. May be an adapter type set up for you.

I have a Mac's muffler on my Italian .45 Supertigre, no adapter was needed. There is a pic of it in my gallery, it's on a Spad Demon. Your engine sounds like it's the S-45 or S-45K (squared cylinder head). The stock muffler for that has not been available since the middle 90's, when the engine was discontinued. You will have to either use an aftermarket muffler as suggested above, or find a SuperTigre muffler somewhere online or through a swap-shop.

Thanks everyone, I figured that, but I was not sure if the specs on towers website were accurate. I will go with the macs and make it work (I was wanting the extension to reach outside a cowl).
