Have my eyes on a bigger bird,, any thoughts on the trex 550, it looks to be a slightly smaller and cheaper than the trex 600, what size batteries are people using? I like that, you don't need a seperate battery and bec.

it use the same battery as the 600 heli.. it does not use a separate battery but better get a UBEC as supply...

My flying buddy Joe Kelly has one. Real nice Heli. Flys super especially in capable hands. He's flying it with 4200 MAH Voltz batteries. gets about 6 min of flight with hard 3D
