Trex 450 pro v2 flybar or 3gx - beginner?
Hi.
My first post
I have been flying a blade mcx2 for 3 weeks now and am getting a msrx next week. I will fly this as much as I can and untill I feel ready to move up. I have got a spectrum dx6i and have learned about dual rates and throttle curves and experimented with them
I have done a lot of research and want to start building a trex 450
I believe with the correct setup ( I have an ebook on this topic ) I can used this heli as a beginnes cp heli.
Which of the two will be the better option for me in terms of build and setup and stability?
The 450 pro v2 with flybar or the 3gx flybarless model.
Any advice will be much appreciated
Thank you!

Flybar will be a little easier to set up if you're not too technically inclined. As far as low parts count and increased stability flybarless is the way to go. As far as torque tube (that's the pro model you're looking at) don't do it on you're first CP heli. Go with the sport version that uses a tail belt. They're a lot more forgiving when the tail rotor smacks the ground.
http://www.horizonhobby.com/products...-x-bnf-BLH4380 is another option. Comes with the BeastX/Spektrum rx built in. It is also for the most part ready to fly and uses a belt drive. With the BeastX FBL system you can tune it to be slow and docile for learning, then crank up the rates when you get brave.

Think I'll go with the sport. Is it very difficult to set up the flybarless. I have not build a heli before

Easily. Just need a FBL head and 3 axis gyro. Also make sure you have good digital servos as these will be under a bit more stress compared to a flybarred head.
