Default New TREX 600CF

I found the TREX 600CF version in [link=http://www.pinnaclemodel.com/index_eproduct_view.php?products_id=569]Pinnacle Model[/link], they offer discounted price for this combo and they said the heli will be available on mid-June. What do you think about this new bird from Align? I think I will pre-order to get my first 50 size EP heli. My 450SE is great, 600 size EP should be my next bird.

If I can sell my Raptor 60V2, I'm definitely getting one!

Man that thing is sick on looks and price. So I guess I'll be skipping lunch for a couple days a week. Who needs to eat anyway.

Well, the heli itself isn't that bad as far as price goes, it's the damn batteries that are so firgin expensive!.......Deeteeenterprises.com is offering the Trex 600 CF kit with Motor, ESC, BEC, and a 6S2P battery for $799.00. But then, you've still got to get all of the radio gear for it.

I spoke with Austin at MaxAmps batteries today though, and he said that it would be better to buy one of their 6S1P 4000mah LiPos, because they're lighter, smaller and have a larger capacity than the 6S2P batteries. They sell the 6S1P LiPos for about $240, which is a really good price.

I don't care, I think they're bad ass, and I'm getting one ASAP! A high performance 50size electric heli that looks as good as the regular T-Rex, but outperforms most nitro helis.......you've gotta be kidding me!

The 600CF combo offer from Pinnacle already include Motor, BEC, ESC. For LiPo battery, I got feedback from them, they proposal to use 4 pcs. 11.1V 2100mAh 20C (6S2P, 22.2V 4200mAh) to deliver high output power while at low cost (Just US$164.08!). See link below.

[link=http://www.pinnaclemodel.com/index_eproduct_view.php?products_id=525]http://www.pinnaclemodel.com/index_eproduct_view.php?products_id=525[/link]

So battery price should not be a price from my point of view

For above package, total package cost in Pinnacle is just US$599.98 + US$164.08 = US$764.06, almost US$35 less than Deeteeenterprises.com!

After this research, I will go for Pinnacle for my 50 size EP heli. Will share some photo after my 600CF arrive on June!

That's cool......Personally, I'd rather pay the extra for a nice 4000mah 6S1P pack from Maxamps. I wouldn't want to mess with some rigged up pack made from multiple others......that's asking for trouble I think. Just my opinion though.

The US$75 cost saving should be a very good reason to try a new setup. In the worse case, I can reuse the 4pcs. 11.V 2100mAh 20C LiPo in my TREX 450SE!

You will find most big electrics (logo 20, E-raptors, etc.) use multiple packs to fly rather than a single one. Makes balancing the helicopter easier as you spread the weight out among both sides of the bird. Also makes purchasing the batteries a bit cheaper (usually).

I see your point.

I was thinking about it and I realized something else too.........I don't have a charger that could handle a 6 cell LiPo!

So, is a 6S2P basically two 3S packs connected together?

If that's the case, I would certainly need to do that in order to use my existing charger.....plus, I could use the extra 3S packs individually for my small Rexes.

I got my [link=http://www.pinnaclemodel.com/index_eproduct_view.php?products_id=570]TREX600CF[/link] last night from Pinnacle Model!

And,

I got my 4200 22.2V LiPo together with my heli combo (BL motor, ESC, BEC, Rx LiPo). Altogether is just USD741 !!

I will try my best to assemble and do test flight no later than next weekend.

Hi to all fellow t rex heli pilots out there.
Ive just recieved my new rex 600 cf combo, first impression are very good.
However i feel it would have been nice when you pay this sort of price for a heli it might at least come with rota blades.
All the other trex i have purchassed came with a choice.
regards to all wingart.

I think one of the reason for not include the blades Align looking for a better blades with competitive cost.

Yes, TREX600 is start selling now! I guess my TREX was delivered from early batch as I was pre-order from [link=http://www.pinnaclemodel.com]Pinnacle Model[/link].

I think the most expensive component of this heli is still the LiPo battery (Talking about minimum 4 battery packs price if you want to enjoy more flying in half day)

I have just finished rotor head assembly and can't wait to have test flight...

My brother received his Trex-600 CF combo kit today. It looks like a nice setup. It really is a lot like the 450se. Because the parts are bigger, it is easier to put together. I have read about problems with some of the ball links breaking but I managed to get 12 of them snapped onto the head tonight with no problems. I did not have time to start putting the frame together so that will have to wait but I will post a pic when it's all done. cheers!

Yes, saw that yesterday. Not a big deal right now. I am glad they owned up to it immediately and are offering to replace them free of charge. It could be worse, I have yet to hear of an accident caused by this sort of thing happening.
