Default did i just kill my gyro ??

GDAY !,

i have a Trex 450 xl , with a cheepish align gyro , im up and hovering around and i got close to something so i yanked the stick back and she , landed square and true abeit a bit quickly ..batts flat now anyway . so i charge up my packs and set the heli aside thinking its all sweet and setup again ,,
and after i charge the batts up again , stick a pack in and wind it up , the tail is behaving very stangely , itll try to hold the tail , but looses the plot , and jerks all over the place , randomly . changing the gain makes no difference to its preformance or lack of it .l.

check i didnt strip the servo , and it works fine , smooth from end to end ..

i then check and double check all my tail, & linkages and alls well there , the gruby screws are all fine and tight etc.. so the question is did i just kill my gyro ??
are the align gyro's prone to this or am i just unlucky ??

ahh , help !!

Did you check the belt too? My Trex has unstable tail after I landed on the curb accidentally. I found a few teeth stripped and make the tail unstable.

if i hold the head the tail wont turn , its also smooth and free to rotate , i will change gyros' i suppose and if it persists , look to stripping the air frame down again .( wo hoo! not) to check the pulleys etc...

i thought something was playing up ... but at this stage it all points back to the gyro ..

You could have a loose belt. Mine behaves erratic when I loosen the belt
