TREX450SE - Linkage Issues - Please help
Hey Guys,
I have been flying airplanes for years, but helis only for a few months. This TREX450SE is my first heli build, so please excuse my question if it is newbeeish. The entire thing is assembled, but I am having a hell of a time figuring out how the arms that connect the swash plate to the servo arms mount. I can't find any hardware with the kit that would allow me to mount a ball to the servo arm. Am i just overlooking something, or do i need to make a trip to the LHS, and if so, what part do i need to buy? Thanks.
Adam

Hi Adam
In the bag of random screws, balls, etc., you should find some cross head screws that are long enough to go through the ball and the servo arm and have a nut (with threadlock) on the back.
Make sure you're using machine screws that take a nut and not self tappers. You want the ball on the reverse side of the servo arm to what would be called "normal", ie, closest to the heli frame, so that the link rods are vertical. Depending on the specific servos you're using you may need to file off the small shoulder on the ball to get clearance.
Karyn.
