Motor Upgrade
I was wondering what a good motor upgrade from a 430L would be. I have a TREX SE, and I would like snappier performance. I am using 3-cell 2200 maH batteries with 50C burst capacity. Should I go to the 430 XL or are there some other viable alternatives. I do not want to go with 4 cells at this time. I would like to keep the flight times around 5 minutes for aerobatics.

RE: Motor Upgrade
I just replaced my 430L with a Just Go Fly 450F and my Trex is now on steroids. Way better than the 430L. I'm using a 12T pinion but am awaiting an 11T pinion because with the 12T it has too much power.

The Hacker motor for the T-Rex is the one you are looking for.

You will also need this pinion for the Hacker motor:

RE: Motor Upgrade
Thanks for the replies. I ordered the Hacker today. Can I expect any compatibility issues with my 35A Align BEC/speed control?
