Default Could someone identify what I actually have

I bought this Trex last year, it has been set up and dialed in for me by an instructor. I have been hovering it with the training gear on it and that is it. It has never even had a scrape.
I'm thinking of posting it for sale but I couldn't even tell anyone which model it is. Can anyone identify what it is for me and then give me a guestimate as to how much I should ask for it.
Thanks in advance guys.

It's a T-Rex 450XL (CDE). For the barebone heli about $100 without electronics. I don't know what electronics you have, can't really tell from the picture. Of course it would sell for more with electronics. Keep in mind the 450SA is $230 with Align 430L motor and Align 35A ESC. So your would have to be south of that, since it's an older model.

For those items add about another $170 since they are used.

Depends on how quickly you want it sold. With everything except radio gear, I would say $325 quick sell, you could probably eek out $375 if you were not in a rush. Keep in mind this is a guesstimate since I don't know the quality of the heli for myself.

I've seen the 450SE sell with the same components for $450 so you'd be lucky to get over $350 for it. Sorry, good luck though.

All great info. So what advantage do I gain from an SE over an XL?

the SE is full metal head and tail with a carbon fiber body. the newest version right now is the SE V2 so alot of SE's have been showing up online. A new SE will cost around $700 with all the components you've listed so when ppl see them for $400 they snap them up.

I have an XL as well and got it with motor/esc and servos for $180 and that was new. I added a gyro for $80 and it's ready to fly for $260 new. They aren't the best components, not as good as what you have on yours but it was all new. I'd say plan for between $275 and $325.

TheEdge...Depends greatly on your skill level. If you are into 3D and beyond FFF figure 8s, you will feel the difference.
