Default Which cyclic servo's?

Hello,

I just picked up a new TREX 450SE V2. I am going to get a GY-401 gyro and S9560 tail servo. What do you guys recommend for the cyclic servo's?

I have seen people with the HS-65mg and others with the HS-56 servo's....

I am a newbie that can just do tail-in hovering at this point, but I'd like to get the better servo so I won't have to upgrade in the future.

THanks!
Skarn

The HiTech HS-65MG's seem to be the "standard" for the cyclic servos on a TREX 450.

HS56 servos are the old recommendation. Now the most frequently chosen servo is HS65MG.

I've used both, they both work. The 65mg's wont strip gears in a crash.

I have on mine the JR 285's with the 3400g for the tail.

That is what my LHS sold me at the time.

I was wondering how they compare to the hitec 65's ?

I have the hs-65hb's in mine, just had my first crash which was over conctrete, full head speed and plowed into the ground, hundreds of bucks worth of damage plus maybe a new gy401 [&:]

anyway, my servos are perfectly fine.

Hitec HS65MGs or HBs, both are very good for the money. Seem to be very popular too.

I did have hs-56's on my cyclic before and they suck i.e. strip gears right away on impact.. so i switch to hs65's hb's..
