Anyone know how to get the DX7 to work with RealFlight G3.5, period????? I have the cables that allow me to plug it in to the Interlink controller, but when I do, the controls are AFU and I can't get them sorted right. []

Several cables were included in the RF G3.5 kit. One of which plugs into the back of the Interlink controller and has a plug that goes into the trainer port on the DX7.
My problem is that RF G3.5 does sense an additional controller, but the channel assignments are totally AFU and there is no apparent way of correcting this....

The simplest way is to create a new model in the radio with the default settings. You must select fixed wing for this model, NOT HELI. The sim will take care of all the mixing and stuff, the radio is basically just sending stick position. Then just go into the controller menu, select the controller in the menu, then do the calibration. Some of the functions like throttle hold may be on a different switch but that's no big deal. Use this model whenever you use the controller with G3.5 and it will work with all the sim models.
The other way is to do all the heli mixing programming in the radio like you would with a real heli but there's a bunch of tweaking in the sim that you have to do to get it to work. And you have to program it for every sim model just like you would for all your real models. I messed around with it a little bit but it seemed like a pain so I just use the first method above.
