Default How often do you charge your DX7?

Hi,

I have a DX7 transmitter and I was wondering how often should I charge the battery. When fully charged, the LCD shows something like 11.8V and I usually recharge it when its down to around 10.0V is it ok?

When do you guys recharge it?

Thanks

I will charge it before a full day at the field no matter what. Otherwise when I see it below 10v just like you.

I use the charger that came with the Tx to charge my DX7. It charges maximum to 10.3 why?????? Even if I leave it hours and hours.... and I charge it back when it drops to 9v

try running the battery flat (until the transmitter wont turn on) and charging it fully.

My DX7 has a 1500 mah NiMh pack and the charge at full is 11.8 and drops slowly.
I still give it a peak charge before going to the field and at the field when not flying I just plug it in to keep it peak, I always did that and never had an issue.

Not shure why yours would read 10.3 fully charge ,maybe a cell in the pack is damage from going down too low, just a thought.

I just ordered 2 TP 610C charger to replace my Hobbico seems like a real good one.

I use my Triton Jr. charger to charge up my Tx battery. I put it through a cycle or two, then charge it up before I go flying. It always charges up to 11.6 volts, and lasts me about a week of flying @ 5minutes per flight. It's a 1500 mah battery.
