Default DEAL OF THE YEAR !

Ok,
Here is the best deal in town:
You can have a Trex 450XL clone for around $45 on ebay (+$45 shipping)
I already bought 2 (one for $41, the other $33), they work great !
Just tape "HKH 450" in Ebay search (airwave2002hk is the seller's name)
You can have them between $20-$50 depending how good you are at biding !
They delivery in less than one week with DHL ! But they don't combine the shiping ;o(
I usualy never promote other peoples business, but that's a really good deal.
Good luck !
Alex.

???????????????????????????????
I have been traking those little helicopters for 3 week from the same seller to try to get the cheapest one, I always typed "HKH 450" on Ebay search and they always showed on the list.
Now, it does not work anymore !
Even if the guy is STILL SEELING them with the same title !
If you have a had time to find them, email me and I will send you the link. (you may try with the seller's name)

Well, I was very surprised by the quality, the screws are hexa, not philips, the frame is aluminium.
The helicopter is sold with one set of fiberglass main rotor blades and 2 sets of tail rotor blades, one set fiberglass and the other set black plastic.
I first mounted the tail fibreglass one but they just exploded !!! (I'm runing now the plastics ones)
I did not have that problem with the main rotor fiberglass blades.
Just make sure that you balance EVERITING, rotor and all blades, it is now flying very smoth (I may try it with carbon blades)
The funny part is that on the Ebay auction they say "not an Align product" but the one that I received had the Align canopy as you can see in the pictures.

Have you noticed no one is selling the TREX SA anymore?
I bet the Difference in parts is no middle man
Is the head block metal or plastic?

they were sellling them at snhobbies for $39 but ran out in a day or 2...its probably a runoff clone..a friend had a container of pattern planes made in china...and after he got them he saw the same plane on the bay for like $30....nothing really that you can do, they fly under the wire for copyright infringment....I got my metal head clone from sn for $180~ shipped..with motor and esc...cant complain...Rog

Hi,
I am very happy with it.
It fly wonderfull if you balance blades and rotors right.
Makes sure everything is well mounted, specialy the links, the ball links need some trim with a special tool to get smooth.
I had a little crash last week (my fault) and I fixed it with the original tail boom, I actualy like it better than the carbon boom I had on it first (see pictures).
I added a tail servo from Hobbycity with the same orange casing, look great.
I will try to put new pics Friday.
Alex.

Nice find. You may want to move the tail servo to the other side of the boom to try to help protect it from a blade strike. Andy

Thanks for the advice, I hope you're flying today, wonderfull weather here in Jacksonville (I'm stock with the kids ).

*****IMPORTANT*****
I had the heli setup with S-PCM throttle hold function.
Throttle hold was just under hovering fly condition to avoid slaming the heli on the floor in case of signal lost.
Great idea right ? Except that when I changed the rotor head after a minor crash, the pitch was diffrent.
And after the first flight I turned OFF the radio BEFORE the heli, and the motor started, hurting my finger with the blades.
So always double check the throttle hold position after any change in your heli.
I know have to use my finger from my left hand to clean my right ear, not soo easy !

No problem yet but I did not fly much so far.
The 2nd helicopter I bought from that guy was not very well put together, the parts are good, but just make sure you double check all the links.
