Send Chiem at flyhelirus a phone call or email for some incredible deals also. that's where I got my Pro. Man the head on the Pro is really solid. No slop. As I'm building my Pro its more challenging to build than the ESP. Room is of concern (there isnt much).

Hmmm... Looking at prices all over the place, I got my 500 esp at my LHS for 530. No freight to pay, but I did have to pay 5% sales tax. Still, I'm very happy with that deal as this LHS will stand behind any issues that might show up.

I agree with George. Fung at Flying-hobby has them for $425 plus shipping every few days. even when its not on sale. send Fung an email and he will just honor that price. Its a hard price to beat.

Hi Noob I'm the guy you emailed on Helifreak to tell me I should part out my 450. I sold that and an Esky King 2. Just this morning I ordered my 2nd 500 ESP from Flying Hobby and got the sale price (emailed them yesterday). I also had them switch it to Hitec 5245MG's for $19. That's what I've got on my other one, and I like MG's

Sold complete. Like I said I wanted it gone quickly and I had just sold a King 2 the same way. I had 3 different size helis, 3 completely different parts requirements. I wanted to "consolidate" my spares, and I didn't want any old stuff left over. Also with my tired old eyes the 500 is so much easier to work on and keep in orientation.

Yeah noobflyer is right about Chiem at flyhelius. That is where i got my 500.Everyone wants to sell there stuff and most are willing to cut cost and sometimes free shipping to make a sale.In this hobby it all helps................

Flew the Mig15 this afternoon, it is NO more. Back to helicopters I think. It came in like a brick and completely distroyed on impact.[:@]

My second 500 ESP arrived today, 8days from Flying Hobby to Ontario Canada (regular shipping). It has the Hitec 5245MG's, and the new frames with the lowered battery mount. Now the build begins.

Sorry to see that KC, I had it in my mind that after the first crash the bird would never be the same again! I was wrong man, you just replace the parts and put her back together and she is just like new. After at least 12 crashes with the 500 and 3 with the new little 450 I should know. Actually I think mine is better now as I have upgraded as I replaced the parts.
Hope she fixes up good.

I hate to see something like that. but it happens to all of us. It happened to my brand new 450 Pro. Ijust spent $200 on parts to make it whole again. Mine looked so bad Icould not even look at it. Took me a couple of days to put it together again. I just flew the snot out of it this morning so its flying like its new again. 
probably it is because of all the new parts put back in.

Thats all part of it Rusty,just think of how many times the pro's put them in. I have seen them at heli fun fly's and such.Man i mean destroyed and quick. Sometimes they just screw up trying something new. This is not a cheap hobby by any means,but people spend there money on worst thing's i'm sure. Patch her up and get back out there.........

I just fitted the DS 650 I have had sitting waiting for the install and my god what a difference. I have had a HS5245mg on the rudder due to a major crash early in my flying career and have never bothered upgrading it. "If it aint broke don't fix it." logic was adopted. Man this bird is so smoothe and crisp now I can hardly believe it is the same bird.

looking good michael. the hs5245 is good on cyclic but not so much on the tail. that ds650 should work very well. it looks beefy too.

hey Noob just bought one and should have it at my door in 5 working days. Did you use it on your 450 or your 500?
I am also looking at getting a 450 super pro combo. think I might sell the other 450 or just have two.lol really don't think I want a 250 as there was one there at the last indoor session I went to and the owner gave me a go. very fridget.

I put it on my 500esp. It should be fine on the 450. Even the 250 will have no problem with the cam. the camera itself only weighs in a few grams.
