VERYcool, T! It's good to be building again, eh? Did yours come with the outrunner or canned motor? I hope it's everything you wanted and more, bro!

this kit came with the 450M motor. its a true outrunner. no can on this one. I'm very very impressed with this kit. I have installed everything and the head is completely set up. I didnt want to stick the ar6110e inside the frame and mounted it outside of the frame for strong signals. My plans are to purchase the ar6200 with the sateillte receiver and than mount it on the inside. All that's left is the tail setup for and its ready.

Good goin', T! Did you do the Finless 8 degree mod on the grips? Just wondering... Can't wait to hear (or see) a report on the maiden!

Thanks Bro.   She is now fined tuned and ready for the park.  the PRO sounds very much like the ESP....probably because of the torque tube.  the spindown is ridiculously long.

here's her first outing on the field.   I'm not in tune with her yet.  some tweaking is needed on the swash.   I will have to order the swash leveler to get it precise.   some minor tuning with the gyro is needed as well.   Overall I'm freaking pumped.

T, you're at the sticks so you know best, but man, that sure looks like one kick-ass helicopter! With five links to adjust, that bad boy will be to your liking in no time flat! Way to go, T!

LOL! I am thinking of asking for one for Christmas. If not then, then after the new year. Like you, I don't like stacked frames. In fact, I think it was you who got me thinking of the structural problems with stacking frames. So, yeah... when I first saw one, Iwas thinking about it. But I wanted the 500 first, then came the Gaui which really isn't a Gaui anymore with Head Hunter frames and such, and now with Christmas coming up faster than a Henseleit, I've got to slowwwww down. Plus I just spent $320.00 on my last two batteries for the not-so-Gaui. Oh well. It will happen. But this isn't about me... it's about you and your wonderful helicopter! I'm so blown away, really!

If you get a swash plate leveler for your 450 pro (or any 450 size), get the Trueblood leveler. I have one for the T-Rex and Gaui, and the BH500. I bought an off brand one and wasn't happy that it rested on the links instead of the arms on the swash plate. The Trueblood rests on the arms and is a quality tool. I'd post the link for one close to you at ReadyHeli, but they're out of stock so here's a link at Amain...

Anyhow... if your video is an indication of a setup issue, Ican't wait to see you fly it after you're comfortable, bro!!!

Both...defintely both. lol But if I had to pick one out of the two....than its the 500ESP. But honestly you cant go wrong with either one.

Just came back from the field this morning with 2 packs.   She is now perfectly trimmed.   1 turn on the swash links and 4 clicks on the radio (dropped the gain 2 points)  and voila PERFECTION     I got alot more comfortable with her this morning.   She is one helluva beast!

You can run a 500 on 2 3S packs right? I'll most likely go with the 450 though.

Yes, you can run the 500 on 2 3S. they should be matching brands, of the same capacity and discharge.
