first thing I did was disassembled the head and put my own loctite on.  lots of the screws were loctited already by the factory, I always play it safe and make sure all the screws are loctited on the head.

here's the head completed with greased on the thrust bearings and loctited throughout.

note: the screws on the flybar cage when tighten down can cause binding. do not over tighten them.

Man, that looks almost exactly like my 450 Sport. Just a few minor differences...

the build is completed.   The wiring is still a mess but its still in the setup phase, so after its tweaked I will clean up the mess.

couple of things I want to add:   the main gear is out of round and is causing some minor vibrations.  I will change it to an align part at first chance.

I installed the gyro directly underneath the main gear.

I'm getting alot of drift from the HB730 gyro.  so more tweaking is needed.  Its OK but defintely not top end material.

Blades are tracking perfectly.   Very happy with this bird.  highly recommended.

that frame is an align sport. it is identical. even has the viewing windows to level servos. and the battery tray has the small cutout in it. the gyro mounting pad is identical. the way the tail locks into the tail boom is identical. when i first saw the picture of the manual i thought "this looks familiar".

so it is a align sport with low-end electronics ?

yep,the airframe is identical to the align in every way. the quality of the metal and carbon fiber isvery good. I cant tell the difference from the align.

the electronics is cheap but its good. I have used the esc and motor for a while now and it works just fine. The gyro is the weak point on this kit. doesnt hold like the align gp750 ....but then again I'm not paying $150 for the gyro either.

I've been busy with work and have not had a chance to fine tune my gyro.  I'm still getting drift but its getting better.   I will do a video very soon. stay tuned folks

I wouldnt be surprised if these kits and the align kits are from the same factory.   the manual is the same as the align,  whereever the align word was used they plugged in flasher.   quality of parts is on Par with align.  its very well made,  much better than hobbyking.

out of curiosity i priced the electronics, seperately, for the align KX015076 and deducted the total from the price of the kit. the frame costs 13 dollars

totally useless information

regards

that may be true Neil but those servos the ds410m's,  ds520 sucks big time.  the align motor, esc, gyro is good stuff.

you can still save money by going with this kit any way you add it up.

i am offended . ROFL

if you look at the manual, it looks like an align gyro on the cover instead of the HB730

I'm going to go ahead and get subscribed because I have one on the way as well. I ordered yesterday morning so lets see how long it takes to get it from China. Shipping was about $35 to KY in case anyone was wondering.

Place my order with targethobby.com with electronics, as well as a ar6100e for my DSX 7, it is very cheap. I search hobbymate, they have a good reputation for the motors, not knowing about other items, I will build it with my DSX 7 after it arrive here.

Just recieved the Flasher from noobflyer01. Every thing looks good. I noticed that the ball links will need resizing just as my Trex 450 Sport did. I'm also going to ground the belt just as I did with my Sport. I think my buddy's going to like this one!!

good to hear it arrive in good condition Steve.

I found a part that I forgot to include with the shipment. its the washer that goes on the main gear. let me know if you need it and i'll send it out immediately. I just want you to be aware.
