What is the difference between a longer flybar? Here is what I think of it so far. To me it seems like a longer flybar with no weights is going to be the fastest, yet more stable. I'm just kinda confused.

Yes, the longer flybar will make the heli more stable in a hover and forward flight, but it will also make the cyclic quicker.

You reach a point where the flex in a longer flybar takes away any benefit but yes, it will be heavier so it will be more stable, and the longer fulcrum will give you more power to the cyclic.
