RE: O.S. FS .30 S
I havn't measured any rpms but to just run mine, the 9-7 seemed to work good for me. Needle setting seems easy. 15% 700' 70F
I was afraid it was over reving with a 9-6. I tried a 10-6 and the engine wanted to run kinda hot on top end. Couldn't set the idle. It would be too rich regardless.
Had simular experience with Magnum 30 except it has a 2 needle carb.
Enjoy,
Jim

RE: O.S. FS .30 S
The little O.S. has a home. I hope it's strong enough. I have a 3 blade MAS 9x6 to try, and will post the results. After carefully balancing the 3 blade MAS, and having my tach at the ready, when I fired the engine I felt a nice breeze hitting me. Oops, I bought a pusher. Update on the O.S. 30 in the Slow Poke. It powers the plane very nicely.
