MDS 148
Have two MDS 148's for a twin OV-10. On test stand, 62 degrees F 10% synthetic and one hour break in.
Using Grapner three blade 16x8 and ASP carb which is larger than new carbs that I just received and have not tested go consistant 8100 rpm and a reliable with factory glow plug 1500 rpm idle.

That sounds great! Let me, and the rest of us know what, if any RPM difference you find between the ASP carb and the NEW carbs.
It seams ironic doesn't it? That our MDS 148's are turning the same RPM's as the OS 160? And the MDS 148, with a BCM pitts muffler, are a 1/2 A POUND LIGHTER to boot! That should make for an improvement on aerobatic models.
Let everyone know if there are other prop sizes you have tried, and what the RPM figures are. Thanks for the information, I was wondering how they would perform with a three blade prop.
