Default YS 1.40 Sport RPM?

Anybody out there running a YS 1.40 Sport yet? If so, what RPM are you getting out of prop + fuel?

Also how big of a fuel tank are you running?

Default YS 1.40 Sport RPM?

Ok, I'll guess I'll just answer my own question.

YS 1.40 Sport (brand new, 20oz burned)
25% Ritches Brew
86 degrees F, 50% humidity
Central Oklahoma elevation (whatever that is)

APC 17x8
8550 RPM

I'm expecting a few hundred more when broken in.

I hope you do get more than that, I get about 8500 with an APC 17x8 on my 120 FZ, using 15% coolpower. Hopefully you are at an altitude in Oklahoma, I'm near sea level.

Default YS 1.40 Sport RPM?

I do too. I was hoping that by posting this I'd get a flurry of "That's LOW. On my YS 140 Sport I'm gettting way more RPM (XXXX) with a XX/X prop"... Guess most YS 1.40 Sport owners don't own tachs....

And remember it's not broken in and still running pretty rich. I have almost had to close the regulator (3/4 turns from fully seated) to get it to idle so I've just begun to tune. That and Ritches Brew is down on the nitro so I'd probably get a few hundred RPM going to Cool Power...

Just checked and we are at 1285 ft elevation..

I'll continue tuning and post what I get once it's broken in.
