Default OS .61FSR ABC

Ok, time for another old, out of production engine test.[8D]

This is one of the easiest starting, smoothest handling sixties I own. Certainly, the three adjustment #7M carb has a lot to do with it.

Temp: 57°
Powermaster GMA 5/22
OS #8 plug
APC 11x7
12,964 w/stock muffler
1.4hp
7.96lbs. static thrust

This is about 300 or so stronger than my ringed .60SR.

It's George Aldrich "signature" C/L stunt fuel. I use it in all my old engines because of the castor content.

rainedave , do you know if this fuel (GMA 5/22) would be a good option to run a MVVS .61 with tuned pipe ???

I'm on the market for the best fuel to this engine (still NIB ).

Thanks .

SpeedBoy, I think the 5/22 would be fine. You might ask DarZeelon what he recommends. But, being European, I think they are designed for low or no nitro. I would use a fuel with castor oil.

Thanks Dave. I have used Powermaster fuels exclusively for at least two decades and have never seen the GMA fuel before.
