Default Super Tigre S75

I've got an older ST 75 with a 12,8 prop on it. What kind of Rpm's should I expect to get out of it? I ran it with 15% nitro fuel and I got 11,900 tuned 300 below max. Is that good? Also what kind of props would work well on this engine? It is going into a low wing 60 sized Supersport type plane.

Theoretically, it should turn a 12x8 about the same as a sixty turns an 11x8, so 12,000 is a decent number. I have one, too, but I just put a new ring in it and I haven't run it in or taken any tach readings yet. I did notice that the ports in the sleeve seem very small. I don't know if this engine was designed more for torque/big props or for speed. I have the feeling it's not a high revving screamer. I planned on breaking in the new ring with a wood Rev Up 12x7.5
