MDS 2.18 rpm

I have a new one and started for first time last night. i didnt have an 18x10 like they wanted for break in but ran it with a XOAR 20x10. near the end of the 5 min run went to WOT for few seconds got 7,150 just on the rich side. i know once it breaks in will gain more power. with the Bisson pits muffler

Question is what is everyone else getting with that prop on the moki's and other near this size heck even a gas engine is welcome. On my Moki i only would get around 6,500 with the Bisson sport muffler so i know this muffler might be holding the moki back some.

""and other near this size heck even a gas engine is welcome""

on my 2.10 (35cc) MVVS Gasser/ Bisson Inverted Side Muffler I get a peak of 7270 (7100 tuned for flight) with a 3W 20x8,, it pulls my 15 pound Gee Bee Y rather well,

the 3W props really load an Engine, I get some 400 more RPMs with a Zinger Pro of the same size

so with your numbers, it looks like you are going to have some fun ;)

Air, a few years ago I had a 2.18 MDS, a Byron's Mustang 50/Fuji 50 and a Zenoah G-45, on a Zinger 20x6-10 they each turned it at 7,300. The 2.18 wore a Bisson Pitts muffler.

One more tank through it. on the 3rd tank got 7,300 on the XOAR 20x10 and 8,400 on an APC16x14 very disapointed was hoping for more.
