Are you talking about the starter tool or the gear units?

Thank you so much for finding this, the starter tool is the part i need, however $167 is a rediculouse price considering the original value for this part was around $60 and ive seen so advertised at about $40, further more i have had numerouse problems with websites claiming it is in stock when it is'nt, i will look into it however even if it is in stock im not sure i'd be willing to pay that much.
Thanks again,
Will.

Well, mayber you could find another starter tool that could be adapted to engage the gearbox.

I would just put a pull starter on it. I have had rotor start before and been through many one-way bearings.

It is not hard to pull start a bigger motor. A lot of times, a lil bit of nitro into the carb and then it will start with one pull

Angry Getting frustrated. seriously need help.

Help needed.

I am not new to rc nitro engines but with my knowledge I am still unable to get my tamiya tnx 5.2r started. I have checked the glow plug and its good. The engine is not flooded and the air filter is clean. The carb is clean and feeding fuel as I crank tje engine. I have disassembled the engine and everything inside is in good condition as the engine has less than 10 running hours. When I crank it it would start one in about 100 tries but then cuts shortly after. I first thought that my fuel mixture is too llean or not lean enough. I also think that my carb my not be mixing air to fuel correctly. Could it be the idle screw for any reason or the distance of the fuel feed valve in the carb?? If these could be the reasons how could I go about fixing it?? If anyone has any other suggestions as to what is wrong let me know.

Check out a nitro engine forum, this one is dead.

find out what stock settings are, change the glowplug and lines and give that a try. That motor might be poop though.
