Did you try the Japanese online store that's exporting them?

Shipping is a bear at $100, but it still came in for mid 8s and that includes the Futaba system and battery since it's the Asian release. I think a guy in California got his in a week. It's was in the build thread. That's definitely the way I'm going if I get one.

Which online store? I've tried eBay and they were still 9 something before the two hundred dollar shipping

Support your local museum and store, visit the AAF tank museum where they are selling it at $1,010. Even if you aren't buying the museum is worth the trip.

Leong, it's me Sean. Danville has great prices on everything but the JS-2.

Ahh Sean alright I got it - although another JS-2 driver RustyTrax did tell me that the tank suffers from poor barrel depression angle which is a drawback on Danville.

If you have friends or family traveling through Japan you can get it fairly cheap there and it comes with a Japan-market 2.4ghz radio.
