FS: Tamiya Tiger 1 with Radio and Battle System 1/16

For Sale: Built Tamiya 1/16 Tiger 1 w/upgrade kit. $ *SOLD* shipped/paypaled in the US.
This ad includes:
Tamiya Tiger 1, upgrade version with metal barrel and photo etch radiator covers.
Tamiya T-03 and MF-04 electronic modules
Tamiya Battle System, installed, with custom-painted battle apple.
Tamiya 4-channel 2.4 GHz radio with modified fire buttons
Tamiya 7.2V battery with charger
all original manuals + a small bag of additional parts
I acquired this kit (without electronics) mostly built off eBay, and did some additional weathering as well as all electronic installation.
The kit is painted and partially weathered. It could use a bit more detailing, as you can see in the pics, below. There’s a few small detail parts missing, including 2 of the air filter connection tubes, the smoke canisters, and a few other small bits. I have a bag of loose parts, but they're only partially complete.
I procured the electronics separately. They are the proper Tiger 1 sounds, but the MF-04 unit came from the Jagdpanther and as such, there’s no turrent rotation sound. Otherwise, they work fine. All working functions are present, including recoil, barrel flash, and the machine gun. This kit drives very well and the battle system is working great.
This includes the Tamiya (Futaba) 4 Channel 2.4 GHz radio. I've modified this to include separate, discrete buttons for main cannon and machine gun fire.
This is a great little tank to run as-is for IR tank battles, or a platform for further upgrades and detail work. $599 including shipping and paypal fees in the CONUS. Contact me here or at [email protected]
