mini mgt 3.0
Hi,
I have a mini mgt 3.0 in my hands. I was told you could see it lock up / slip before I got it. I noticed some teeth gone on the 64T spur gear so I figured it was causing the lock ups / slipping so I repalced it
Now even the metal spur gears on the motor won't spin with the motor running at whatever throttle.. The spurs spin counter clockwise by hand smoothly but lock up spinning clockwise..
i swear i was very careful putting everything back on in order after repplacing it.. The instructions to adjust the slipper clutch make sense, although i don't see a 7mm bolt with a spring behind it ANYWHERE. in the picture it looks like the nut at the end of the shaft the plastic spur gears are on.. ya there is no spring behind it.

Take a look at the clutch shoes. (behind the clutch bell on the motor) The spring might be broken or the shoes worn out. Also Also order a slipper spring. It should be between the slipper plate and adjusting nut. Also pictures really help when diagnosing problems.
