Boring story....
Anyways, scotty, what size turnbuckle are you using for your steering? I"m too lazy to bring my connecting rod that goes from the servo to the steering column to compare at the LHS...

RE: Monster GT anyone have one?
Took my MGT to the track again over the weekend; I made some changes a while back including a Desert Rat body, fuel tubing to limit downtravel, less preload and lighter springs, and a set of premount 3.8" Talons. The track was surprisingly dry and I realized how bad these tires are for racing. Acceleration is GREAT since they're so light, but traction is terrible on a dry track. I bought these on a suggestion from another MGTer, and I'm wishing I'd got some 40 series bowties instead. Oh well, at least it doesn't roll over in the corners so easy as it did on the stock chevrons. On another note, I decided to try 1/8th buggies, and I'm keeping it in the family--my RC8 should be arriving next couple days.

Very nice the Rc8 is a very nice buggy.
you should try some regular 1/8 bow ties or crime fighters one 1/2 offset dish rims.
Thats what I run and is very nice on a hard packed tracked,

Hm, you bring up a good point. Maybe I should finish putting my rear diff back together and I should drive the BEAST!
Especially with the new steering setup! You got me all pumped up now...[>:]

Just a tip guys - don't post direct links to e b a y, as you've seen, they will be removed. I think it's okay to post the item number here though if you want someone to go to e b a y and find them one their own. BTW, who needs sway bars? I thought half the fun of this truck was watching it go around corners looking like a drunken sailor?
