Does anyone know where I can buy the 23mm Dace adapters for the MGT? All I can find are 23mm Dace adapters for the Jammin' truggy. Are those what you guys use? I've searched all of the threads and can't find where anyone mentions a part number or location to buy them.

Well, I just picked up two used Mgt's last night with three point cages, failsafes, 1 set of integy piggy backs, and the alum steering upgrade on one. Plus, 200.00 worth of parts still new in the bag and a gallon of fuel for 250.00 Can't wait to get these going

Nice. I put all the upgrade parts on 1 truck and sold the other one with some parts for 200.00 So I got a nice up graded MGt and put an ofna force .28 on it. I got $45.00 in the truck and I got the motor off a buggy I had. It's got the FOC, 10k diff fluids, Futaba mg servos, 3 point cage, integy shocks and it came with a new set of tires and 7 more spares, and a .28 engine. Here it is

RE: Monster GT anyone have one?
Hi guys got the best truck ever MGT obviously looking atr upgrading shocks and came across rcravens dual rate spings this is what they say
(The Dual rates are 3ppi at the top and 7 ppi at the bottom provides both a smooth ride at low speeds and stable ride at high speeds. We had them made for us as an inexpensive way for our customers to increase the performance and looks of their GT's without having to purchase those expensive shocks costing $50 to $100. Dual rates are ideal for trucks with aluminum or that have extra weight.)
They cost $9 plus shipping for all 8 i believe. Basically are they any good as seem great but are they a good match for general bashing/jumping.
Also got VG racing roll cage off ebay but no connection parts any ideas on replacement parts or homemade parts?
cheers guys will post pics of my beast when fully opperational

RE: Monster GT anyone have one?
U got a 4.6 or 8.0?
If u got the 4.6, the Z.28 will give u both... more top speed and torque....
If u got the 8.0, the Z.28 will have less toque but more top speed.

What has happened to all the MGT owners? Have you all just moved on to something else? I just can't seem to find much time any more for the hobby! Whats your excuse?

RE: Monster GT anyone have one?
My first monster truck.....
All stock in the photos, but I've since changed springs to copper / red combo. Handles MUCH better.
Anyone know if the Pro Line Volkswagon body will fit on the 8.0?

RE: Monster GT anyone have one?
its been awhile, want to start bashing again. Question about the motor mount, do you guys take off the motor mount to install new engine? Took off the stock 4.6 engine a long time ago and was replacing it with the axial 28 but never did. Now years later want to start running it again, just don't know how to get to the nuts inside the motor mounts. Would i have to remove the engine mounts from the chasiss to access? And what about if i wanted to run a 21 motor? would the stock motor mounts work or are you guys using aftermarket mounts?
