Yo! scotty what kind of shock setup is that? would you run reds all around ? The one guy at the hobby shop told me just run stock arms they are tough, he also was saying to get a better header and run my stock exhust and bring it out the side. never saw anybody do this.

Those are Pro-Line Power Stroke shocks. There probably the best shocks you will find for an MGT. But they are getting hard to find as they are no longer being made. And them bad boys are pricey at that. About $100+ is a decent price for used ones.
For the stock shocks all red springs or red and copper combo work good for bashing.
The stock arms are pretty tough but the RPMs are alot tougher.
The side header will give you a little noticable increase and alot of people do it. Still the best performance increase you can get aside from a new motor is the FOC. IMO

That body is too small (it's the 1/10 scale, MGT is 1/8th). You need to get this one: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...p?&I=LXJGR0&P=

hey does anyone know where that tyre chart is, that has the weights of them etc? I need to see what the diff between the stock wheels, zombie maxx and big joe tyres is

I want that info, too. I've got a set of 40-series velocities w/bowties on them, but for bashing I want a more aggressive tire. The stock tires are great for bashing, but they have too much give on the sides, plus the extra 1/2" of width that the Velocity wheels give you adds some nice stability.

well thats why im going to buy 4 of them and i really think it would look bad mix up that but there so cheap that wont be a problem, and i really dont like the style wheels that RPM puts out on the market and i was going some of the tips in the monstergt fourum and found that stock T-Maxx giving you a greater turing radius but only buy about 5º but still 5º is better that none.
And t-maxx wheels in the back and stockers up front or vise versa will look really stupid IMO.

I went with the 40 series because They will offer alot more stability than stock and dont put more pressure on parts like the offset do. As for the body I will be able to get it to fit. The MGT bodies by factory are under the 1/8 scale but that one you listed is also found under the 1/10 scale. If it says it will fit a savage then it will fit the mgt. Thats what I go by anyways. Maybe I just kicked myself in the but by getting it but I will let you all know.

RE: Monster GT anyone have one?
i am having problems with my mgt that i cant seem to diagnose so ive come to the experts. it seems to have problems shifting from forward to reverse. I wanna try to solve the problem with losing reverse, and going with the f.o.c. So if there is anything i can upgrade that would prove beneficial to the performance in respect with shifting forward to reverse. this is where i come for all my technical problems, thx.

do you stop all the way before shifting? sometimes if my batts are low it is hesitent to shift. the FOC will solve all of those problems.

RE: Monster GT anyone have one?
I went skiing on good friday so not much to do today besides waterproof the MGT and take her out again! The snow is starting to melt around here so theres some water around but I should be good if I put balloons on the servos, receiver, and batts right? Im just breaking it in on a damp road anyways not going swimming or anything Also I am concerned about the power switch on my truck how am I suppost to waterproof that? I was thinking stretch a small balloon over it and try to squeez it into its slot. I should still be able to turn it on and off then.
