RE: Monster GT anyone have one?
Eh, it should take about an hour for the whole job if it's your first time. After that, it takes 15-20min...
But if your OWB is gone, then taking it out of the 2nd speed gear is a task, but you can hammer it out on a pair of needlenose plyers, and it should just pop out.

RE: Monster GT anyone have one?
I have a problem with my 5 year old MGT (TT .21 pro version)
I bashed the truck really hard about 2 months ago and I lost a nut that goes with the screw that holds the carborator in place. Where can I get that nut? Can't seem to find that anywhere at my LHS. Here are some pictures:

I had that happen as well.
You're going to have to order from here, the only place to have the screw...

Here's the search if the part is wrong...

RE: Monster GT anyone have one?
well i decided to finally go ahead and order the parts i need to get my mgt 4.6 up and running again. i havent drove it all summer, only been racing my st-1. which sucks because my mgt is my number 1 rc, it's always ready to tear up a golf course or construction site. so i ordered some maximizer 17mm hex adapter (the nylon 17mm hexes i had stripped out last year after a little too much fun on a baseball diamond), axle pins, clutch springs, clutch washers, fuel tubing and the nova motor mount because i destroyed my stock one trying to get it off the chasis. plus, i hated the stock motor mount when it came to mounting the engine and aligning it. but all my parts should be here by the weekend. can't wait to get it back outside. i think i'll clean it off tonight too. i've seen so many vacant lots and construction sites this summer it was rediculous, and me without my trusty mgt. well i can't wait till i get the parts.

RE: Monster GT anyone have one?
u dont need to bend the LST header to make it fit, bolt it straight on (new headers come with the flat spot allready cut into them) and run to your hearts content

RE: Monster GT anyone have one?
guys, I am a little inexperienced at this so a little help would be appreciated. I was running my MGt over the fornt lawn yesterday. When I punch the gas I hear what sounds like either "pop-pop" or "borp borp" sounds from the engine. If I advance the throttle smoothly I dont hear it .....I took the body off to make sure I wasnt hearing the body banging about. Also what is the ideal idling temp on the engine ?
