Well, that's up in the air right now. I looked there but didn't see it listed to buy from them. The only one they mention is in the refurbished area and even there it shows unavailable. Tower hobbies and Ultimate hobbies seem to have the cheaper prices but there on backorder until late January. Hobbytown is showing in stock but there wanting $270.00 for it. For that price, I can wait. Any other suggested sites for this truck?

Yip I'm still here but my MMGT is currently out of action temporarily, not to sure how to fix it. Having problems with diffs

man, too bad you don't live in the milwaukee area, i would've drop it off at happy hobby, and i'll take a look at it. have you opened the diffs? what are they doing, binding up?

Hi, its the fact that they won't connect I have taken both front and rear diffs apart and they look fine. I also live on the other side of the world from you guys!

you sure it's the diffs? check out the tranny too. yeah, i just noticed right after i posted that you're on the other side of the world. lol

Check your front and rear drive cups. Sometimes the grub screws can come loose.
Im working on mine right now.

I wonder if there is a diff that can be swapped into the Mini MGT .That would get rid of those grub screws or at least replace them with pins.

just did a little shopping for the mini mgt yesterday afternoon. got a BB conversion kit and a dynamite .21 engine. i do have a spare .28 sitting around, but i think the .21 will be more than enough. the stock .18 is probably enough, but i'm like tim the tool man taylor, MORE POWER!! also got a few parts for the regular mgt. the flywheel stripped out finally, so had to get a new one. also got an extra rx for my futaba 3pm 2.4g.

Nope it is not the grub screws I have previously checked them numerous times. But the thing it is it goes, but you can spin the wheels round but the drive shaft won't turn.

Be sure to check all 4 grab screws good. Also check the pins in the drive shaft....and check that all 4 hex pins are in.

Hey guys after readin and watchin some videos of this truck i went and placed a order threw towerhobbies just a few min ago. i did have some questions but most of it was answered here. I orderd the red springs to help with it fliping over. I do wana know do i still need to lower the truck ? This might sound crazy but im kinda tight on cash and its been real cold here u guys think its a bad idea to wait 2 weeks to mess with the truck. keep in mind i need nitro fuel still and im sure i will need some new fresh batteries etc. to clear it up i got the truck from tower cuz they have a 25 off deal goin and i just checked and it is in stock but they dont have many left.

i do wana know what is the best way to go about the brake in, i have in the past done this with my othere nitro rc cars/trucks.idle the first tank. 2 and 3 slow runs tank 4 3/4 on the gas tank 5 i would go up to full but for short burst if that. 6-10 get the high speed set, low speed , then if i have to lower the idle i will do that. some times i have to lower or higher the idle befor the low speed or high speed adj take place after tank 5

i do the slow driving for about several tanks, slightly leaning it about a 1/4 turn each tank. i think around the 5 or 6th tank i do full throttle for a couple of seconds then let off. you can check youtube for break in methods. heat cycle method is pretty good too, might break in the new engine i get for my mini mgt that way.
