Just got a used MGT 4.6, will need help setting the 2 speed trans
Seller said they could never get the 2 speed to work. Any hints at what to change or check? Thank you

I seem to remember that you adjust the shift point screw out to cause it to shift earlier. You want it to shift to second gear at about 15-20 feet after you go WOT. I have two Nitro cars and both had to be adjusted to shift earlier. Look in the manual to find that screw. For both of my cars it is a 2 mm allen screw that is kinda hard to find and get to.

im assuming its similar to the 3.0 so look by the spur gears or check the manual online

As far as hints, like most trannys it only takes a very small(like 1/8th) turn to make a difference.
