Default Thunder Tiger MTA4 S28 problems

Hi all

I have a MTA4 S28, which I bought about a year ago and haven’t used it for about 5 months now, but just the other day I decided to pull it out the box and give it a drive. All was well but after about two tanks of fuel the engine started sounding funny. When I pushed the car to full throttle and released for breaking, it continued to make a high pitch noise as if the engine was over reving, but than gradually subsided back to normal. Is this normal, or does it mean the bearings are about to pack up?

The high speed needle may be too lean. Keep an eye on the position of the needle, it may be moving on you. If it is, the o-ring on the needle will need to be replaced.

Hi there

I have taken into consideration what you have mentioned, the high speed needle is 3 turns out and the needle is sitting firmly in the sleeve. What else could be the problem?

can anyone tell me plz what is the speed of a thundertiger tomahawk vx?
and which is better hpi rs4 evo 3 +,or the thundertiger tomahawk vx?which has best quality and performance also on track?

Richen the low speed needle 1/8 turn and see how it runs. If its better, but not fixed, richen it another 1/8 turn. One of your needles is too lean.
