JR 8711 Servo experience
Taking advantage of the weather, I tested a set of these in my 40% Radiowave Extra (2 each aileron) this last weekend. First impression was how smooth they were around neutral. I could immediately feel the precision during 4 and 8 point rolls. I also did some 3D and servos felt very solid throughout.
Rated at 403 oz/in @ 6V. Horizon indicated that they should be shipping these in March.

I can check on your question. But they feel quite precise. You can tell when moving the control surfaces very fast, then very slow and they come very precisely back to center. Hard to describe in words but I could feel it distinctly in the air.

RE: JR 8711 Servo experience
I had lunch with Peter Goldsmith last week and discussed this when we met. The servo case is completely re-designed and it is much stiffer. This will provide a stronger case with less flexing, and therefore less slop. I'll keep you posted as I put more flights on mine. That is when the weather clears and temperature rises.

Just flew my 45 Lbs Super Extra with a 200 cc engine---8 JR 8711 and 4 JR 8611A-- Powerbox ---- 2 Thunder Power batteries of 8000 Mah each and 2 Watt meters InLine. Max Amps was 14 ---- Mah per 8 min flight was 350 --- Max Voltage at no Load 8.35 --- Least Voltage after 6 flights on Load was 7.95. Typical IMAC sequence.
