Powerbox is a very efficient setup. However, I'm using two receivers, and two batteries for flight controls. The left Rx powers the left wing, left elevator, and rudder, its independent from the other battery. The right battery/Rx powers the right wing, right elevator, throttle and smoke pump. Its pretty simple.

Hello,

I asked around and seemed to be that the 2000 or so mAH- size battery; I used two- one on the right, and one on the left. It was the only size in that range. I think that you can get 2200's in the same size package. Total power is 4400mAh

Interesting thing I found at the JR Challenge- the voltage seemed to actually increase as the temperature rises. I think that the voltage on one morning flight was higher when I landed than when I started.

Looks like RC Mike was still logged in on this box... If you are out there, I'll log you off. Just goes to show how many people read RC Universe out there! I did not realize that he must have checked from this courtesy computer terminal at the airport.

Logging off,

Don
