48% cap 232

don, thanks for the help with the posting. your knowledge is really great and helpful. I wondering if your big cap had airfoil shaped tail surfaces and what might be the thickness of the surfaces. thanks again for your replies

Thank you. The tail surfaces are airfoil shaped. Its like a wing. I don't have the exact measures but it is similar to that of other 40-42% models out there.

Yesterday was a very special day. I've waited 18 years to fly this airplane again. It flies incredible. On the first flight I went through and it all started flowing back. The memories. Just like that pulled up to a vertical upline 1 1/4 positive snap exit upright. Push down to a vertical downline, positive 1 3/4 snaps to upright. I practiced that maneuver so many times, plus the 1 3/4 negative snap up. Its as if the TOC is tomorrow. Actually it was... exactly 20 years ago today the TOC was getting ready to kick off in Las Vegas. It just all came back with emotion. First unknown maneuver on the first sequence of the first day- enter inverted push to upline one snap, hammerhead, roll down. I remember that maneuver as if it was yesterday.

Plane flies so well, but again the servos I had at the time were two 8411s at 155 in oz each wing. Now I've got to Spektrum servos putting out 3x the torque each. The plane was ahead of its time for sure.

Wow. Look forward to flying more in the future. Still fits in the wagon.
