I just jumped in this forum so at the risk of being redundant; here is my one and only question.

With the DA50 having power to spare and the Saito 220 being much lighter but less power than the DA with all its trimmings; for all arround 3D and lots of hovering, what would your best choice be (no cost consideration) for a motor in this ship?

Mike,
As you can see from my earlyer post in this thread, I am a big fan of your 80cc size line-up of ARF's. So I have another recommendation, a 35% Giles G 202, or G 300. I can't find anyother companys with a 35% ARF Giles, though Lanier has a kit. Hope that you find this as a good suggestion.

Mike,
How about an updated Desire ARF. The pattern folks seem willing to pay thousands for a plane. They would probably buy a Desire that was way cheaper than their Impacts or whatever and use it as a practice plane- 'till they realize the quality and superior performance of the Desire.

hey mike what about an enlarges extra 260!! I have the 33% H9 edge and the classic first H9 33%er extra, both these airplanes are awesome but the edge is exceptional!! You and Hanger 9 have come a looong way. My dad got the 27% 260 and it is also beautiful and light, I was thoroghly impressed on how fast and easy the edge and the new 260 were to put together. I have a zdz 80 in my edge and it is juist awesome! I am learning new things every time I fly it. My trusty old extra 330l has countless hours of flight time on it (literally) and even though I still like flying it I would like to replace it with a new H9 33 or 35% extra 260! I really like the mid wing design and think this would be excellent for H9. so see what you can do ok, thanks

Here's another suggestion. How about a .90 size Sukhoi.

I guess that leaves an opening just for a 35% G-300.

Sure. The 260 was designed so the MTW drops right in.

Mike, do you like the Giles G300 idea, or is it in the same boat as the staudacher? Here's some more ideas if that didn't work.
(1) Extra 260
(2) Laser 200 in the bud scheme
(3) Yak 55. I know, another yak. I'm getting sick of the 54's, but could stand a 55. There is a demand out there for the yak out there, I don't think that many people care if it is a 54 or 55, they will buy it.
Mike, I hope these ideas help. I'm still hoping that H9 will bring out the 37.5% Sukhoi and the 46% Peter Goldsmith Cap.

Mike, can you at least tell us if H9 will release a 33% this year. I understand new designs are kept on the down low but maybe you could just let us know.

Mike, Here's another plane that you could do. It's a juka. I'm going to build one sometime, but if H9 ARF's it I would be the first one to buy it.

My vote is for a 30% Wayne Handley Raven (non turbo) for IMAC and Freestyle. This might make a sweet pakage with the EVO 58.

That "Juka" kinda looks like the love child of a Sukhoi and a Katana. Could be cool!

IMO it would be impossible to make it fly well without deviating from scale far more the 10%. It would pitch couple terrible and appears very short coupled.

Mike,

how about bringin a Lazer 200 back to the game??? maybe a 33%?? i enjoy the airplane and really like the lines of it...would be a great airplane for someone who isnt into the whole 3D part of flying, but enjoys precision aerobatics.

Mike, What do you think of the Giles G300?
Have you ever thought about the One Design?
