Just wanted to bring this forum up to the top, to see if maybe we can get a hint about whether or not we will see another 33% this year.

I choose to believe that H9 was bringing out one, but they had major quality issues and have put off bringing out another one until Toledo '06.

Why would they start having major quality issues now? They have a good track record and it's not like they're just getting started at this.

I'm just hoping that that's what it is.(I will believe anything to not think that the Edge was the last 33% from H9)

Well I have a magazine article in which Mike was interviewed. I can't remember if it was a sidebar to the 33% edge review - but anyway they asked what was next from Hanger 9 and I seem to remember Mike saying it won't be the last 33% plane from Hanger 9 - but didn't give any specifics. Maybe I need to go dig it out....heh I wouldnn't do that.

The problem I see is that really for the most part the "money" is in selling 33% scale aerobatic planes, sounds good. Problem is for the most part has done most of the common ones - Cap, Extra, Edge, Sukhoi. I really don't know how big a market there would be for 100 inch wingspan sport planes or non military scale planes. You really can only research, develop and hope to sell what people will buy.

Id like to see the 40 size Mustang in an ARF instead of a RTF. Now that would have me buying day it came out. I'm not the only one. There's alot of us in Nevada that like Hangar 9 airplanes, but most of the warbirds are 60 size and we're poor here in Nevada. The Californians are drivin house prices through the roof.......LOL Heck I learned on an Arrow, and flew two of them for years. Well one till it finally got beat enough to fall apart and the other my son flies now.

My vote is for a 30% Wayne Handley Raven (non turbo) for IMAC and Freestyle. This might make a sweet pakage with the EVO 58.
I still hope for one of these!!!

The price and quality of the Extra 260 is great.(yes I have one) would they consider other 50cc class planes? possibly an 27% or 28% Edge or a unique biplane such as an Eagle Talon or Monster Pitts.

The Cub ideas weren't bad too I still like to take my Super Cub out and fly it though the parts are getting hard to obtain. I need paint for the cowl and a winshield from the last crosswind landing.

Something fairly unique in the aerobatic family. I hope we dont see a yak, Im not a fan of them and there are plenty out there already. I would love to see a 33% raven from hanger 9 or a pitts challenger. I love the challenger, everbody has ultimates but there isnt a bipe that looks nearly as good as the challenger. Sporty wings tips like a ultimate, nice big rudder but with style, ultimates rudders are kind of odd looking I think. Also the challenger has two different wing shapes like an ordinary pitts, pretty much at any angle looks like two wings unlike an ultimate where one wing hides the other one half the time. Im not sure about this but makes a little bit of scence, I read where pitts tumble better/tighter while ultimates track better with their longer fuse's so stretch a challenger as much as possible on the 10%rule if thats true that the lenght of an ultimate makes them IMAC better.

actually even an ultimate by hanger 9 in the 33% size would be cool. I have always been pleased with h9 and havent purchased much besides that in a long time. There are little details that make them nice that other planes dont have such as all the holes in the side of the fuse cut out where the wings mount. The 50cc market may make you more money because of a bigger market but keep us poor folks going with new 33%ers that fly big. Its my opinion that a 80" plane doesnt performe or feel anything like a 33%. I suppose that 40% might be even better, just havent had the chance fly one yet. Offer up the challenger the way you did the old 1/4 scale cap color wise. All red for the oracle scheme added by modeler, all black for those that want either the 10-10-220 or 1-800-collect scheme and one with a non scale nice colorful scheme. I wouldnt make to many black ones though as its an older scheme, and I supppose hard to care for but that would be my choice. Love it!! Best looking, coolest plane ever!

You guys are right about the Yak 54 being way overdone, but how about a 27% Yak 55SP. I think this is a much better looking airplane.
