Default sukhoi dihedrall

Hi Mike:

I would like to know more about the Sukhoi dihedrall, could you please answer my question:

These are the 2 situations:

1. Wings, flat on top, dihedrall at botton.

2. Wings, dihedrall top and botton.

Have a great day

I am assuming you mean the dihedral of the H9 Sukhoi. I believe the full scale is flat (straight down the centerline so the angle top and bottom is equal. The H9 Sukhoi has dihedral, if memory serves correctly, it is less than flat on. Does that help?

Mike:

Thanks for your advise, now I have two more questions:

1. Could you tell me why H9 did not design the kit with cero dihedral as the real airplane?

2. What effect could result if we add a wing fairing like the original?

Have a great evening,

tomo

The dihedral of an aerobatic modelis critical as when its correct there should be no roll couple with rudder. If the Suk were zero dihedral, it will roll proversly (against) the rudder input.

Hard to say the effect of a wing fairing. I dont think the effect will be significant though.
