Default ultimate wings

I am scratch building a 42% ultimate from Godfrey plans. The question I have is it calls for 0 degees onthe wings and +2 on the stab.Is that going to do the same as negative in the top wing? What is the best way to set it up.

Thanks, Todd

This is the same setup as the Goldberg plane. The postive on the stab picks up the tail. Build it per the plans. Dennis

That should be fine. However I'd also put 2 degrees of up thrust in it. If not, it wont track straight on uplines.

I believ its ver simlar to my Ultimate. However the few I've seen tend to cme out heavy, so I'd put it on a diet anyway you can.

I know my Ultimate weighs about 40 RTF, so youd have to back out a DA-150 w/ prop and mufflers and the radio gear. I dont really have a clear answer for you.

On the flying wires, I dont know how the wings are built so I cant say. Assuming the wings are strong and it uses a 1-1/2" tube in each wing, it should work w/o wires.

The wings are foam with the leading and trailing egdes sheeted and cap strips.I could only fit a 1 1/4" wing tube in the wing without it getting to thin. Thanks for all the help!!!
