Linkage question
Mike,
Picture a 40% Carden Extra 330S. The stab has 1 8611 per half. The Arm is 1 1/4" long. How far should the "clevis!" be from the hing center line? right now mine is about 2" which should give me a good maniacal advantage, but I would like more 3D throws sow how far can I screw it down closer to the hinge line before I don't have enough "torque" for the surface?
Thanks
Bob Teseo

RE: Linkage question
I have always put the control arm at the heigth of the sero arm being used...example,servo arm is 1.25",the control arm is adjusted 1.25" from the center line of the flight control LeadingEdge...has always given me more than enogh throw for 3D.Same goes for the Ailerons, the inboard control arm will be lower to the surface than the Outboard...due to the tapered wing.
