Evolution 45GT Muffler problem
Mike,
Hope you enjoyed a few days off....we all need a break once in a while. Now for the problem. Putting an Evolution 45GT on a Cap 232G. Everything was going fine until I tried to put the muffler on the engine - the short bolts are locked into the engine head - no problem there. Muffler fits the engine/plane perfectly - but the muffler nuts that came with the engine are too large and will not go into the muffler! Well, I found two nuts (metric) that fit the studs but you cannot get a wrench into the 'hole' to tighten it....
What am I missing here????

RE: Evolution 45GT Muffler problem
Called Tech support and found out I was supposed to remove the 'studs' from the engine and bolt the muffler on - but my muffler came w/0 bolts - so a quick trip to the hardware store....sure would be nice if they would supply instructions with the engine indicating the correct procedure!
Ran engine for the first time.....ran somewhat rough in transition. Adjusting the high speed as we couldn't get past 1/2 throttle. Will do some more testing today!
