Reversing my engine
 

I bought a Royal 45 abc.engine about 25 years ago that came with a handmade ducted fan system. The system was comprised of a 5" clear acrylic tube full of hand made vanes. It also had a hand made turbin type fan that was made from 2 aluminum discs and 10 shortened master airscrew props..pretty impressive. The kit said that all I had to do was to reverse (spin ) the carb, so the throttle is on the other side, and the engine will run in reverse. Well I couldnt get it started 25 years ago and I still cant , after getting back in the hobby. Anyone have any sugestions...?
My 27 year old fox 78 flies my senior telemaster like a dream. Wish I had a dozen of these old engines (NIB). Thanks...Terry.. : )
