Default R60 Main Gear

Guys

Got my raptor and I am putting it together. I have a couple question about the main gear and main shaft that my search didnt answer.

The gray main gear sits right on top of the tail gear and appears to be causing some friction.

So my question is, is there any adjustment for this gear assembly for up and down? In the manual makes mention of it but its bolted to the main shaft I just dont so see how it could be adjusted.

Also is it normal that the main shaft just sits in the bearing on the bottom plate it doesnt pass through it all the way? It goes through top plate, the collar, through the gear assembly, then into that bottom plate but doesnt really go through that bearing like i would have expected, the end of the shaft just sits in the bearing and doesnt pass through it.

Thanks in advance!

Gregg

I have the same thought, I don't see how the Lower Bearing Assy, can be adjusted? But my main gear set is REALLY tight! Hope someone can answer your question.

I figured out the problem. With the gear assembly the top gear (main gray gear) was upside down it was rubbing against the "red" gear and also rubbing the tail pinion gear. There should be a space between both gears in the assembly, the main gear only goes on one way so make sure to double check that.

Zaremba - The Raptor 30V1 or V2 has absolutely no valid comparison or relation to this discussion.

Uhhhh....

Yes, it would help if I actually read the article title more carefully when zipping through the posts.

Sorry all...
