Default HELP WITH BATTERY SET UP FOR RAPTOR 50



This is my first nitro helicopter and I need help on the battery set up.Should Igo with nicad,Lipo or a123s ?

If it were me, I'd get an A123 but make sure you run a voltage drop on the tail servo

I agree I am using a Life 2100 mah pack with a 7100R Spektrum receiver which has a built in regulator for the gyro. 123A are the way to go

I have been flying Electrodynamics A123 packs on my Raptors for 2 years and LOVE THEM! Note: Not all A123 packs are the same! A123 Brand cells seem to last much longer! Check out Electrodynamics by Andy Lowe online.

Nothing wrong with a 4 cell ni-cad, especially if you are a newby.
